adjacent to the existing house. The project will include a 158-room hotel
and a championship golf course. The hotel will offer several restaurants,

|
| This
project involves the redevelopment of the existing 18th-century Dunboyne
Castle as the centrepiece of this €30m new hotel complex. All structural
strenghtenings to the listed castle building were carried out in a sympathetic
and non-destructive way. The superstructure generally is steel-framed
with the bedroom wing consisting of traditional blockwork and precast
concrete construction. |
