Great news to hear recently that two very different but equally exciting DBFL projects, Primark Belfast and Alexandra Road Bridge at Dublin Port, have been shortlisted in the upcoming ACEI Engineering Excellence Awards.
Primark Belfast involved the dramatic resurrection of the grand Grade B1 listed Bank Buildings out of the ashes of a 2018 fire, in the heart of Belfast’s city centre. DBFL engineers helped devise some amazing engineering innovations to overcome the unique complexities and challenges of this project.

Alexandra Road Bridge showcases the delivery of a complex project in a live port environment. The design and construction of this HGV bridge with its striking red façade took place over a live railway line and critical road infrastructure, representing significant engineering challenges which were successfully overcome to deliver this landmark project.
