Engineers Week 2021

DBFL’s STEPS Team paid a virtual visit to 60 primary school children across 2 classes last Monday as part of our involvement in Engineers Week. Our engineers shared their enthusiasm with an equally enthusiastic group of pupils from North Dublin Muslim NS. Here are just some of the wonderful structures created by students on the day with prizes given for those structures that scored the highest across Creativity , Strength, Height and Stability. Fantastic to see such engagement from the engineers of tomorrow.

Next week we are running our Engineering Your Future Transition Year 3-day programme, giving 30 students a small taste of what a career in engineering looks like, with a full and engaging programme of presentations, challenges and activities over 3 days.
