Fairways Apartment Development Dun Laoghaire

Construction is progressing well at the Fairways development in Dun Laoghaire, with the scaffolding starting to come down on the largest of the three blocks at Fairway Court. Fairway Hall is currently at penthouse level, while the structure at Fairway Court is essentially complete.

DBFL are providing full structural engineering services on this Cosgrave development consisting of 214 apartments, in four, five and six-storey blocks over a basement car park. The apartment blocks are built over a reinforced concrete transfer slab at ground floor level with underground car parking below. At the upper levels, precast concrete floors and balconies are supported by masonry and reinforced concrete walls, while a steel structure at fourth floor level facilitates a fully glazed penthouse for panoramic views of Killiney Hill, the Dublin Mountains & Dun Laoghaire.
