Glenamuck District Roads Scheme

DBFL has recently been appointed by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council to design and deliver the Glenamuck Disctrict Roads Scheme through preliminary design to handover following construction.

The delivery of the scheme will not only serve significant zoned development lands but will also provide a safe road network, of approximate total length 3.5km,  for the existing population of the Kiltiernan/Carrickmines area. The proposed scheme will also provide upgraded facilities for pedestrians, cyclists & public transport to replace poor or non – existent facilities on existing routes whilst also providing safe linkages to the Luas Green line on Ballyogan Road.  The scheme will form a key component of the revised network of roads planned for the south-western area of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County to support the anticipated levels of residential and commercial development in the area.
