Two Grand Parade Starts On Site

Contracts were recently signed on Two Grand Parade, a 9,600 sqm commercial development for Hines, including 6 storeys of new prime office space over a single level basement. The new building is linked via a glass atrium to the iconic 8 storey former headquarters of PJ Carrolls and subsequently Irish Nationwide Building Society, overlooking the Charlemont Luas Stop and the Grand Canal in Dublin. This protected structure will also be fully refurbished up to modern office standards.

DBFL are providing Civil, Structural and Transportation engineering services on this landmark development including the refurbishment of the existing building and making structural allowances to facilitate the possible future construction of a Metro station beneath the building. Completion date is estimated for the middle of 2022 with John Sisk & Sons Ltd now on site.
