Progress at Notre Dame Churchtown

Nice to see the progress of this high-end residential scheme at Notre Dame, Churchtown from the sky! This circa 300-unit development is set out in 7 apartment blocks ranging in height from 3 to 6 storeys over 10,000sqm of basement carparking.

DBFL provided a range of engineering design services for this residential scheme including full structural, civil and transportation services.

The structural scheme developed with the client consisted of mesh reinforced concrete party and gable walls with the external wall construction a light gauge steel infill panel system (Metsec) with masonry outer leaf. The apartment blocks are constructed over a common basement and are supported on a reinforced concrete transfer slab of varying thickness up to 675mm.

Project due for completion in early 2020.
