BackBallycullen Stocking Lane Realignment
DBFL were responsible for the planning through to construction stages on this road, which involved 2.5km of 7.5m wide new district distributor road including roundabouts, future drainage services, trunk watermain diversions etc.
The works were fully supervised by DBFL site staff and included substantial traffic management issues due to 30% of the road being the re-alignment of an existing carriageway.
The road was successfully delivered by DBFL for the stakeholders (a consortium of developers and South Dublin County Council) along the route from the point where the road was just a line on a two-dimensional Local Action Area Plan, through the planning process, tender documentation, construction drawings, site supervision and finally handover to South Dublin County Council.
