DBFL have been involved with waste to energy projects for the past five years. Working for our clients Jones Celtic Bio-Energy (JCBE) we have provided civil and structural engineering services in relation to numerous contract bids and Design Build project

JCBE delivered a 8,100 sqm Dry Anaerobic Digestion Plant as part of the Barnsley Doncaster and Rotherham (BDR) MBT plant for the Shanks Consortium.

DBFL provided full civil and structural engineering services in relation to the project which consisted of 8 no. reinforced concrete fermenter tunnels, 2 no. reinforced concrete pasteurisation tunnels, reception hall, ASP bays and RC Biofilter
DBFL’s role on this project included full design, detailing and inspection services for the project which is now fully commissioned.
