As part of the Greystones Marina residential development project, DBFL have also designed the publicly accessible Marina boardwalk, which has been nominated for an Infrastructural Award in the upcoming Irish Concrete Society 38th Annual Awards at the end of March 2020.
The Greystones Marina Boardwalk is over 300m long, featuring Banagher Precast MY beams spanning up to 10m onto precast concrete crosshead beams, all supported on concrete filled steel driven piles within the marina. The boardwalk will provide access to the new mixed-use development overlooking the marina.
The Boardwalk links directly from the Bray Cliff Walk a 7km coastal walk from Bray Beach, over Bray Head and along the beautiful scenery to Greystones village.
