Shackleton – Phase 1 Almost Complete

Phase 1 of Shackleton, a 900-unit development in Lucan for Cairn Homes, is almost complete with Phase 2 well underway. The development features a mix of 3 and 4 bedroom houses, a 60-unit apartment block over basement carpark and a number of duplex units. Further phases will include a commercial area with retail units, a supermarket and creche facilities. Infrastructure elements include almost 5km of roads and footpaths with over 1.5km of cycle paths as well as extensive networks of surface water drainage (4km) foul sewers (3.5km) and watermains (3.5km). DBFL are consulting engineers for all civil and structural elements on site.
