Engineering students visit Marina Quarter, Cork, 2025

02 October 2025

DBFL, along with Glenveagh Homes and Conack Construction were delighted to welcome Engineering students from University College Cork and the Munster Technological University for guided walks of the Marina Quarter, Cork Development.

On 26th September, we hosted 20 students from the Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering degree class of UCC and 30 students from the Structural Engineering degree class of MTU on the 29th September.

Both visits offered students the opportunity to witness this fantastic development first-hand, see how engineering concepts are realised during construction, and to gain valuable insights into the challenges and solutions behind delivering one of Cork’s largest residential developments.

A big thank you to the lecturers and students for their engagement and great questions during the tours. It’s always rewarding to support the next generation of engineers and to showcase the exciting projects shaping Cork’s future.
