The Momentum Games Challenge 2025

Last Friday, the DBFL Torque Titans took on the The Momentum Games Challenge – a competitive relay event designed to push teams to their limits, all in support of Dublin Simon Community.
Our team gave it everything on the day, starting strong on the Ski Machine and rotating partners to maintain a consistent pace. We then moved on to the Bikes, where we maintained strong momentum, and finished on the Rowers with one final effort before stepping outside to cool down and rehydrate.

The DBFL Torque Titans took 2nd place in their heat. While they didn’t place in the finals, we are proud of our team’s determination and performance. We were particularly pleased to have a team with one of the highest numbers of women, with six participants compared to the minimum requirement of two.

The Momentum Games are the successor to the Dragons at Docks events, bringing teams together to raise vital funds for Dublin Simon Community. The event challenges teams of ten to work in pairs across three exercise stations over an intense 15-minute period, with real-time leader-boards tracking performance.

It was a fantastic evening of teamwork and competition, and we were delighted to be part of an event that supports such an important cause.
