Capdoo Inner Relief Road Opening

After many years in the making the opening of the Capdoo Inner Relief Road marks an important milestone for Clane’s local transport network.
DBFL were pleased to attend the official opening of the new road, following our role in providing Civil and Transport Engineering services during the planning, design and construction stages of the project.

The approximately 450-metre route creates a new connection between the R407 Kilcock Road, Capdoo Park and the R403 Celbridge Road, improving connectivity across the town.

Alongside the new road and roundabout on the R407, the scheme incorporates pedestrian crossing facilities, cycle tracks, footpaths, public lighting and drainage infrastructure — helping to provide safer and more accessible movement for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.

Congratulations to both Westin Homes and Kildare County Council on the delivery of this key piece of infrastructure in North Kildare.
