This bridge project was delivered as part of a large-scale Strategic Housing Development of 462 residential dwellings, 483 student accommodation spaces and a commercial centre plus associated street network, footpaths and services. DBFL acted as Employer’s Representative for the bridge delivery which was a D&B project delivered by Clonmel Enterprises Ltd..
The 40m long road bridge across the River Lyreen is part of the new link road serving Mariavilla which will link Moyglare Road and Dunboyne Road. Other services provided by DBFL on this project include masterplan development and design of strategic services and connections, design of infrastructure services and roads, structural engineering, traffic and transportation analysis, flood risk assessment, road improvements and culvert design. .
