Queen Street Student Accommodation

DBFL is pleased to support the delivery of the Queen Street Student Accommodation development in Galway City, where a key milestone has recently been achieved. The ongoing removal of scaffolding is unveiling the high-quality brickwork façades and giving full visibility to the architectural form and scale of this significant project. DBFL is providing structural engineering services to assist in delivering 345 purpose-built student beds for our client, Elkstone, addressing the growing accommodation needs of Galway’s student population and contributing positively to the wider community.

As major external works near completion, construction activity is now progressing towards final internal fit-out and final stages of delivery. Designed to meet high ESG standards and promote resident well-being, the eight-storey development will offer extensive amenity spaces including communal lounges, study areas, a wellness hub, gym, cinema room, landscaped rooftop terraces, and 24/7 reception facilities. Its central location provides excellent connectivity to the University of Galway, Ceannt Station and Eyre Square.
