Trinity Campus Plan
Our Transportation Team were delighted to attend the formal launch of the Trinity College Dublin Campus Travel Plan and the Biodiversity Plan recently. Pictured with our Shauna Kelly are Martina Mullin, Healthy Campus Manager, Claire Byrne, Sustainable Travel Officer, Jane Hackett, Sustainability Manager and Jane Stout, VP for Biodiversity & Climate Action.
Over the past 18 months, DBFL’s team of engineers and transport planners have collaborated with Trinity Sustainability and Healthy Trinity to develop the comprehensive Campus Travel Plan for the University, promoting active and sustainable travel as a way to support the physical, social and mental wellbeing of the Trinity community.
The Trinity College Dublin Campus Travel Plan 2025-2030 showcases the results of a number of exercises carried out as part of a wider Transport Study for Trinity, including a Cordon Study, Transport Modelling, ZEV Strategy, Freight Study and a cycling infrastructure audit applying the CycleRAP methodology for the first time in an Irish context. The audit was a collaborative effort between DBFL and our Dutch partners Haskoning, and we thank Sjors van Duren and his team for their support.
The Plan is now live and can be viewed here – https://www.tcd.ie/sustainability/resources/plans/
