Seafield Strand
Works are now complete at the Seafield Strand development on Greenfield Road in Sutton.
With impressive views over Dublin Bay and the Irish Sea, this residential development at Seafield Strand consists of four central blocks ranging from 4 to 5-storeys over a podium transfer slab and common basement. There are also three 3-storey blocks to the rear of the site.
The structure of this residential development consists of an in-situ reinforced concrete basement and podium transfer slab, with an in-situ reinforced concrete superstructure frame and precast hollow-core floor plates.
The basement was constructed using a perimeter secant piled wall. Basement waterproofing is achieved using a combination of Type A and Type B waterproofing. The secant piled wall supports the permanent structure, with a series of piled ground beams and pile caps providing foundation to the internal structural elements.
The DBFL team are proud to have provided full Civil and Structural Engineering services to Park Developments on the Seafield Strand development.
Thanks to Walls Construction Limited O’Mahony Pike Architects, Brady Shipman Martin, KSN and everyone involved.
