Rowing Relay Challenge
Over the last few weeks, we have been challenging our team in trials with a rowing machine at our Dublin office for the upcoming Dragons at The Docks charity boat race on August 31st. The fun got very competitive with challengers trying to beat each other out of the fastest time in 500 meters. We finished off this week with a rowing relay race. Two teams went head to head taking 100 meters each and swapping rowers until they hit 1000 meters in total. It was a close challenge that went down to the last few seconds. The winner reached their target in 3 minutes 33 seconds. A whole 2 seconds ahead of the other team.
We are now strong and ready to take on the Dragons.
DBFL have taken part in the Dragons At The Docks challenge for the last number of years and even took home the top prize in our category in 2019. Dragons at the Docks is a corporate-sponsored boat race in Dublin’s Grand Canal Dock supporting much needed funds for Dublin Simon and other charities having raised over €1 million in the last 5 years.
