Project Overview

DBFL were appointed by Cairn Homes to provide engineering services for this large-scale 907 unit residential development within the Adamstown Strategic Development Zone (SDZ). The main civil infrastructure elements of the residential development designed by DBFL included almost 5km of Local Streets and Homezones as well as extensive networks of surface water drainage (4km), foul sewers (3.5km) and watermains (3.5km). The delivery of 1.5km of new Link Street type roads within the Adamstown SDZ also included the provision of 2 new signalized junctions, 1 new signalised Toucan crossing 13 minor priority access junctions to adjacent development lands, 3km of cycle paths and footpaths and various strategic services and utilities to serve the lands.
