Rapid Progress at Blackrock Villas, Cork

Works are progressing rapidly at Glenveagh Properties plc’s Blackrock Villas development. This new residential development will deliver 298 apartments in the heart of Blackrock, Cork.

The development consists of three separate residential blocks ranging from 5-7 storeys over insitu concrete podium transfer slabs and common undercroft partial basements.

The superstructure blocks are constructed from precast concrete walls and precast hollowcore / lattice slab floors. These bear on insitu concrete transfer slabs located at podium level over the insitu concrete undercroft partial basements. The entire development is supported on CFA piles in conjunction with insitu concrete pile caps and piled ground beams.
