Termini, Sandyford

DBFL is delighted to see the completion of Termini, a striking commercial development in Sandyford, by Aldgate Developments. The development offers in excess of 20,000 sqm of impressive office space over 6 storeys with full perimeter floor to ceiling glazing, over a single storey basement car park. It has a prime location on Blackthorn Avenue, and the close proximity of the Luas provides the development with excellent public transportation links.  DBFL provided civil and structural engineering services for the project from planning through to completion.

 The structure is a cast in situ concrete frame with post tensioned slabs. Double height circular columns create a colonnade effect across the front elevation and support three distinct projecting sections of the building which start at second floor and extend to roof level. The development’s green roof and permeable paving supports SUDs. DBFL worked with RAU, HOBA and Walls Construction in the successful delivery of this landmark project.
