DBFL at Women in Engineering 2025
DBFL Consulting Engineers were pleased to attend the Engineers Ireland Women in Engineering Group Conference at The Round Room, Mansion House last Friday, 20th of June.
With eight members of our team present, the event offered valuable perspectives on the ongoing work to improve diversity and inclusion across the engineering sector.
The conference featured a wide range of discussions, exploring both the challenges and opportunities that exist as the industry strives for greater inclusion. We were also delighted to have DBFL represented on the “Together We Achieve!” panel by Danny Pio Murphy, who shared his thoughts on sector-wide progress, the importance of collective action, building inclusive workplaces, and DBFL’s continued commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
We’d like to extend our thanks to everyone who helped make the conference such a success — with special appreciation for our colleague Arethusa Goedert, whose work as part of the organising committee helped bring the day to life.
While women remain underrepresented in engineering, events like these provide important space for conversation, learning, and collaboration. The theme hashtagTogetherWeEngineer reflects the collective responsibility of the industry to foster a more inclusive future.
