Dún Laoghaire Harbour Masterplan
DBFL were delighted to collaborate with ARROW Architects and the wider project team on the Dún Laoghaire Harbour Masterplan. As part of this ambitious vision, DBFL provided Civil, Marine, and Transportation engineering consultancy services.
The Masterplan outlines a comprehensive, long‑term strategy for a vibrant and sustainable ‘Living Harbour’. It focuses on enhancing recreation, tourism, and economic activity, while also strengthening climate resilience and supporting increased biodiversity.
Close collaboration across the large multidisciplinary team was key to getting the project to this stage. DBFL welcomed the challenge of developing inclusive, resilient engineering solutions that reconnect the town with the sea and celebrate the harbour’s rich heritage.
