Millerstown Kilcock

DBFL carried out junction improvement works and were involved in the detailed design and construction of a proposed distributor road linking the R 148 (Maynooth – Kilcock Regional Road) to the R125 (Dunshaughlin Road) to the northwest.

The development consists of a partial realignment of the R148 to provide for a roundabout junction with signalised zebra crossings facilitating access to zoned lands to the north.

The development also consists of a 7.3m wide distributor road  (0.57km in length) with integrated cycle tracks and 2m wide pedestrian paths with landscaping on both sides. Other works included associated infrastructure works and the partial realignment and re-profiling of the Rye Water River as part of flood protection measures.
