Mount Hybla Nursing Home

The construction of this 58-bed nursing home in Castleknock, Dublin 15 involved the redevelopment of the existing Mount Hybla House, a protected structure, as a nursing home and adjoining crèche.

The site layout was developed in close co-operation with the landscape architects. This was important in order to minimise the impact on existing trees within the lands. It was also supported by detailed level design, which was carried out to similarly reduce /mitigate impacts.

DBFL were responsible for both the structural and civil engineering design of this development including external junction improvements and road widening.
